John Conomikes:

John Conomikes has been interested in all kinds of games (video, board, card, etc.) since a very early age and into designing and creating them soon after that. He learned the basics of programming in elementary school as his first step towards being able to make his own video games. After a while he realized that being able to program on his own was not enough to make the games he envisioned and then set off learning and teaching himself about game design. In high school he learned about the ETC program and set his sights on getting into it in order to help him fulfill his lifelong ambition of crafting his own games and distributing them for all to play. Six years and a BS in computer science later he is there and after graduation he hopes to get right into the heart of the video game industry is a primarily design role.
Ya-ching Chiu:

Ya-ching Chiu graduated form National Chiao Tung University in 2005 with a BS in Computer Science and Information Engineering. Then she got her Master Degree in the same university.Her research was mainly in the field of Computer Graphics, specializing in natural phenomenon simulation. She have also done some research in NPR(Non-Photorealistic Rendering) and Augmented Reality.Computer graphics is interesting, but the way to do the research in computer science department is not suitable for her. She decided that she wanted to do something more interesting with her Computer Science background. In order to combined her love of art&design and background of CS, she decided to realize her dream by entering ETC.
Akash Joshi:

Akash is a graduate from Pune University INDIA. Graduated in November 2007 in ‘First Class’ and hold the degree, ‘Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology’. Since a very young age he was fascinated by computer games and enjoyed playing them and dream about making them one day. So his inclination has been towards designing and making his own games. His Goal as a future game designer is to develop games that will deliver a complete entertainment package to the people. The games will have diverse and intriguing story lines, a versatile, non linear and creative game design, a different and captivating game play style making the whole experience lifelike.

To combine entertainment with technology is always what Lynne wants to do as her career in the future. she has had strong interest in computer games and also immersed in animations since she was in her childhood.Her project in college is mainly about computer graphics, which is called “Rapid 3D Scene Modeling from Images.” And the goal of the project is to create a reconstruction system that can turns 2D images into 3D ones. The project really arose her interest in Computer Graphics and 3D models.After graduating from National Chiao Tung University in 2008 with a degree of B.S. in Computer Science, she hoped that she could bring people happiness by using entertainment technology someday. She is interested in both animation and game design. Therefore she came to Entertainment Technology Center of Carnegie Mellon University to pursue her goal.
