This week, FeelsBot had our quarters presentation where we got lots of feedback for Left Unsaid! According to Carl, this quarters had a record turnout. We met many EA employees who were very excited about our idea and gave some valuable feedback about challenges we may face and how to make the experience richer.
The story went through several more revisions this week and a few additional dialogue sequences were added to make the experience more vibrant. Ross, Brian and Wendy spent the week collaborating on asset creation, with Ross making several models, Wendy assisting with textures, and Brian overseeing Unreal Engine implementation, lighting and level design.
In order to make sure we are moving effectively, we have also created several documents to keep everyone on track with what assets to create.
On Friday, the entire group went to the Oculus Story Studio HQ to see a demo of their latest project. We also got to chat with several designers and producers who had much valuable feedback and ideas to assist us! (We don’t have any pictures or details for this as we are under NDA)
Justin was in Singapore this week so we couldn’t do anything technical!!!!!!!!!!!
Next week, we will continue building our asset library, begin sending out casting calls for actors, playtest our machine paper prototype and begin solving technical issues with level streaming and game mechanics!
