This has been the last week of development for our wonderful team.
Our deliverables – the final version of our interactive experience “Speak with Purpose” and the thorough documentation and reflection on our development – are finished and archived.
The changes that we have done since soft opening in our game are:
- Instructions in the intro were changed, so that everybody understands that interactions are not just limited by booing or praising the character
- More obvious indication of Fred’s mood using color indication (Fred’s skin color changes depending on how good or bad he feels right now)
- Shout-outs from the crowd are no longer random, but happen according to player’s heckling or praising the character
We had the final presentation on Wednesday, and got a very warm reaction from the audience and the faculty specifically.
