Emily finished player spaceship texture, enemy spaceship modelling and enemy spaceship texture.
Development
For the development for the project, we finished the basic mechanism of the game, including the update the art asset, the attack from the enemies, the attack from our spaceship(except the defender ultimate skill) and the skills of engineer.
Playtest
On this Thursday(10/29/2015), we went to the Colonial School to do our first playtest. This time we tested our game with two groups of students, grade 7 and grade 12. Before the playtest, we used a printed tutorial to explain the game to the student and then let the students try the game on the iPad. The game was a little complicated for the students of grade 7 at first, but they learned it very fast. They were shy at the very beginning and then there were more and more ongoing communication between them. After the playtest, they commented that the game was fun and they would be willing to play the game after we deliver it. Also, they gave us some useful suggestions that it is better if the leader board is not only for the team, but also for each individual, for example, the best engineer of the week.
Half Presentation
Before the half presentation, we rehearsed several times, in RPIS or in our own project room.
On the Friday, we gave a presentation in front of the faculty and the ETC students and got lots of useful feedback from them.
