SeptoBunny, is a team of of seven graduate students from Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center. Why call ourselves the SeptoBunnies? Because there are seven of us and nothing conveyed the bouncy fun we wanted to create quite like an adorable bunny.
Designer and artist Yen-Chu (Lucien) Chen who was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, has pursued game design for over fifteen years, building games as a junior high school student, studying game design in college, working for Sony, and building the iPhone games “Unlucky Man’s Lucky” (available in the iTunes store). Those applications are still available on App Store.
Programmer Shihao (Davis) Dong was born and raised in Changsha, a small city in China. He studied computer programming during his bachelor studies of Information Security in Tongji University, Shanghai. As a programmer and designer, he focuses on rapid prototyping using C#, JavaScript and Unity. He also enjoys playing piano and singing.
Designer and gameplay programmer Frank Hamilton is an alumnus of West Virginia University with a degree in computer engineering and a degree in electrical engineering. I hope to use the problem solving skills I learned in my undergraduate education along with the video game development experience I gained in graduate school to develop visceral games.
Animator and artist Chenxin (Momo) Jiao was born in Xi’an, China. She earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in Xidian University. While her true love is animation and she wants to become a great animaor. With the passion for art and animation,she learned modeling,texturing and animation by herself. She also has a widely interests for film,animation,photography and acting. Now she is an 3D modoler and animator in ETC.
Character and environment artist Sahana Vijai earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from BMS College of Engineering in India. At Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center, she combined her technical talents with an artistic passion, developing art suitable for game design. She then tuned her focus on translating her knowledge of traditional art techniques into creating three dimensional creations.
Producer David Wegbreit leads diverse teams in creating great experiences. He has helped a student team create an interactive storytelling exhibit for the San Antonio Children’s Museum. As a producer at Schell Games, managed the art pipeline for a tablet-based educational adventure game. As a writer, he designed financial education games and curriculum, edited a restaurant guidebook, and wrote for a trade magazine. He is an alumnus of the University of Southern California.
UI/UX Designer Keyin Wu graduated from South China Normal University in May 2010 with a degree in Multimedia Technology. She considers herself an UI/UX designer with graphic design, web front-end design and music composing skills. She is driven by her passion for engaging interactions and aesthetics and would love to create immersive experiences using her diverse skills. Currently she is looking for full time opportunities in UI/UX Design or Web design.
