The Take Shape Team
Welcome to the site all about the Take Shape team! The Take Shape team is a group of graduate students at Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center in Pittsburgh, PA. During our fifteen week fall semester we will be working in conjunction with the MAKESHOP, a division of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Our goal is to create a brand new, innovative exhibit that will explore the process of teaching children five and up the basic concepts of 3D modeling.
With a wealth of knowledge, skill sets, talent and passion one of the only things our team is missing is a female member. Our six man team, comprised mostly of recent graduates for various distinguished programs we are all still well in tune with academic work cycles but have experienced enough in the work environment to understand what it takes to design, develop and implement a professional grade product; regardless of the client or setting. Between us we have backgrounds in computer science, visualization, motion graphics, graphic design, digital art, fine art, experience design, game design, production management, hardware design and fabrication.
We all look forward to getting started with this project and see many promising lessons to be learned along the way with a completed deliverable at the end point. Please check back to see more updates through the semester.
