Ahoy from Jelly Pirates! We had a heavily implementation focused week as we get closer to our finals. During the week we focused on putting all the pieces together, fixing the bugs as we go and mainly tweak the level and the enemy waves for a better game experience. Read More
Hello all! As softs are approaching fastly, we are working hard to wrap things up and finalize the implementation of our core features. We planned this week to have a game loop by the end of the week but changed our schedule a little bit after some feedback from faculty. Read More
This week the team worked on using the feedback from the playtest conducted on Saturday to improve our experience. We made some improvements on the existing systems as well as introducing some new mechanics to enhance the player experience. Read More
Hello everyone! This week the team made their final decision about with which prototype they want to focus on they tested over the weeks with different mechanics of shooting. After the playtest on Monday and meeting with our client the team decided to move forward with “360 Rotating Cannons” and develop it further. Read More

Hello everyone! This week was Spring Break but the team continued working to make up for the time during GDC. We made major changes in our art assets and some more tweaks in the design and programming. Read More
Ahoy from Jelly Pirates! GDC is already here and most of us were actively involved. But things were not that slow for the team. We had a chance to make our first formal playtest on Monday March 2nd with a Dad and his 3 kids. Read More
Hello everyone from teams ThunderEgg and Legato! This week was an important one for us as we worked towards one product all together. After monday’s all-in client meeting, we decided to move forward with “Space Jelly Pirates” idea and this week we started on improving the design, further defining the interactions and started implementing base classes. This week the team worked on getting their new game design idea prototype ready for the all-in client meeting on next Monday. Two teams (ThunderEgg and Legato) developed horizontally 2 different prototypes that was chosen by the designers. Read More
