Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center (ETC-Global) is a unique program that brings together students from a variety of academic backgrounds. Our graduates are among the most highly sought-after professionals in the interactive media industry.
We expect applicants to our program to have a demonstrated proficiency in one or more specific areas, and the bounds of those areas are defined only by your imagination. We do not 'turn artists into technologists' nor do we turn technologists into artists. Our goal is to provide students with an opportunity to learn the vocabulary, values and working patterns of other disciplines by working together in interdisciplinary teams.
We are looking for students who are self-motivated, have a strong passion for what they do, and have a capacity for critical thinking. To learn more, please email the Admissions Office.
