Welcome to a new semester!
For the first several weeks, we’re focusing on brainstorming to come up with ideas. Speaking of AR, there is one thing that immediately jump out of everyone’s mind: Pokemon Go. Though the success of Pokemon Go heavily relies on the popular IP, it still introduced a very interesting way of entertainment; and to be honest the most typical AR (layout another layer of image on top of reality) does not play a big part in this game.
Out initial project requirement also include smart city, smart stadium and IOT, which is also a slow-but-steadily growing trend. What can we do with the sensors and cameras inside the newest stadium? This can open up a lot of new options for us. The electronic device can even not be the phones, it can be provided by the stadium which is specifically distributed for the event.
We also had a Skype meeting with our client talking about the project. During the meeting he gave us some other options we can play with, which inspired us with even more ideas.
There is already plenty of things going on for the first week, and we’er excited to see what will come out as the result.
