Week 15:
- Revised Gameplay: SAVE CARNIVAL!
- Objective: transform the invading zombies back into students through a combination of pathway blocking/redirection of the horde and building of turrets that shoot books and coffee, and corral the transformed students into Hunt
- Lose State: When campus is destroyed (health bar UI on Hunt)
- Resets and the quota stays the same
- Win State: When a quota of transformed students in Hunt is reached
- Resets but next ‘round’ the quota increases, therefore increasing difficulty
- Idle State: after 10 minutes of no interaction, resets to Tutorial level
- Lose State: When campus is destroyed (health bar UI on Hunt)
- All building assets are permanent features of map, with zombies attacking the carnival buildings (and not Hunt), which decrease the overall ‘Health’ of campus
- Turrets: one bullet to transform one student
- Increasing height/volume leads to increase in power of shot (transforming multiple zombies at once), increase in range, and decrease in frequency of bullet
- Tutorial Level:
- One turret (minimum height), a simple pathway (minimum height block), One Zombie student, and one Hunt (goal)
- Teaches all core interactions of game, while asking people to build their own Turret and to use BIG walls or it doesn’t stop the zombies, and once the transformed student reaches Hunt, the main game begins
