I don’t think things could have run much smoother. We started off with simple introductions, the roles we’d all like to play in our project, and we came up with a team name–CardioActive. Perfect!
We got in touch with our client and eventually got a meeting date for next week. In preparation, the team has been playing exercise games of all sorts, including: Wii Sports, Kinect Adventures, Joy Ride, Just Dance, Nike + Training, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, and Dance Central. This research has led us to poignant questions to ask our client and we have begun to add them to an item list in anticipation of our meeting.
Today (Friday), the team has begun gathering logo and poster ideas, afterwhich we will give them to Mat (2D artist) to start creating prototypes of our poster and logo.
The team mechanics are set, the client on notice, our faculty advisor up-to-date, this ball is rolling in the right direction and we’re excited for a challenging semester.
