We started off week one with researching about Cozmo and it’s capabilities. We also watched all promotional videos of Cozmo and some of the existing games that they have already built with Cozmo and his Power Cubes. We went through their current SDK documentation and came up with list of questions that we need to ask for our first meeting with the clients.
We had the opportunity to meet out clients, Hanns and Boris on Friday after their seminar at the Robotics Institute (RI) on main campus. After an hour long meeting with Hanns we got a lot of questions answered and we had a good insight into what Cozmo represents. During this meeting, we also got chance to meet Alec Solder, who is a undergrad student at ECS department and he interned at Anki last summer. Since he has worked on Cozmo SDK, we might consult him for technical help with their upcoming Python SDK. During meeting, we also requested our clients to ship hardware and alpha version of SDK so that we can start exploring design ideas.
Finally we documented our work, began working on the website, and finalized our core hours.
