Dailies 1-27-11

Today is the project launch events that ETC is hosting. There are lots of guests came and stop by at our project room, and we explained to them who we are and what we do at here in this project.

Navi passed couple ballistic images for me to reference and start to create the pre-render movies that we are going to use for out game 1. Since our pipeline are pretty much set now, I’ll shift back to work more on that with Arvind.

Dailies 1-27-11

  • Modified the model structure, to make it more animation friendly
  • Worked on unwrapping the gun model

Dailies 1-26-11

Today:

  • Researched references for visual style for the interface
  • Re-worked files to coincide with new Pipeline structure
  • Turned over first draft assets to programmers for integration into prototypes

Tomorrow:

  • Continue research for visual style
  • Mock up more elements based on research
  • Continue to improve overall UI design

Action items performed today:

  • Graphical user interface implementation in progress.
  • Project uploaded on unity Asset server

Dailies 1-26-11

  • Set up the 3D asset list for ease of asset sharing and documentation
  • Went through various references for assets
  • Went through texturing and animation tutorials on Maya
  • Set up Unity on my computer

Dailies 1-26-2011

Today I worked with Navi for how to work on Unity’s Asset server. Navi created basic folders for us and we tested to sync from other machine.

Arvind also made a list of 3D assets we’d like to build, will get it to that more.

Build a spray bottle for Navi to test asset server as well.

Dailies 26-01-11

  • I found bunch of sound of 9mm pistol today.
  • I started to use unity and try to get familiar with this engine.

Dailies 1-25-11

Today was and still is a heavy BVW workday for me. For team, I am still testing and playing around Unity Asset Server version control.

Found out that our project TV just delivered, and was working on that machine to hook on internet and make sure that has our banner and poster on desktop.

Tomorrow will be a full CSI workday for me.

  • Worked on refining the assets previously made
  • Went through Maya texturing tutorials
  • Gathered textures for some of the assets
  • Helped in laying out the project room as the new TV was brought in

More work on assets will follow in the coming days
