Final Physical Design

Big news: we’ve finalized the build design!

Our final build, complete with fully framed-out CAD and tech drawings, has been approved by the client and sent out to the fabricator. The layout consists of a “desk” structure composed of stacks of books which supports the touchscreen monitor. This desk is designed to the specifications of a standing worksurface for children in our target age range as well as being ADA compliant for the same age range.

Everything will be framed in tubular steel and faced in PVC, allowing us the option of customizing and coloring the books with vinyl after the structure is built.
