We did it! We finished Lovers Meet!

This Monday was softs where we premiered Lovers Meet with great reviews and feedback! We were all pleasantly surprised with the positive feedback about our animation, style and overall product. Woo!

We have decided, based on feedback, to tweak some animations to make them more smooth since certain important moments were not hitting due to mocap jitter. Specifically, the shoulder-touch and the “hand pile” from the scene with Molly.

After these few fixes, we have shifted gears to put our full attention on the Sea of Stories. We are hoping to create the best pre-production package possible, including concept art, storyboards, technical tests and tutorials, environment mockups and more. We are also creating what we are calling the “Pre-Production Bible,” which will be a document to help onboarding the new team.

We only have one week left before finals, so we definitely have our work cut out for us considering on top of pre-production, we also have to create our promo video, post-mortem and make sure everything is up to snuff for spring showcase!
