This week, TEAM FITYMI was assisted by Dylan Bright, Clay Singer and McKenna Sloane, who are the actors for Lovers Meet. Directed by Ben Gansky, our actors rehearsed the script and participated in our first motion capture shoot!
Justin Macey, who runs the motion capture studio, will be helping us with motion capture cleanup and was able to very quickly give us some data to put into our scenes!
Emily began placing cameras based on our storyboards and cleaning up the lighting to make sure the scene is well lit and fits the overall tone we are attempting to elicit from the audience. Assisted by Wenyu, together they are working to make sure Lovers Meet looks the best that it possibly can!
Wenyu and Luo worked together to further refine and rig Isaac’s model and texture. Luo was also able to model Art, which Wenyu is now working to texture.
Catherine assisted Brian with new storyboard drafts to test alternate endings improvised by the actors. These storyboards will then be shown to our classmates to assess which ending they find the most compelling.
Catherine also began drafting music samples for Lovers Meet!
Next week we will continue to refine the overall look and begin working specifically on Scene 2!
