This week we shot our first set of footage!
-We received our rig! Our cameras are charging now, and we plan to shoot our first 360 degree video this weekend.
-We shot footage! We shot 2d footage in the green screen room for use in the 3d / 2d hybrid demo, working off a script from American Beauty
-We finished our marketing materials! The website, poster, logo, and half sheet our complete, and we have plans for shooting our team photo next week
-We’ve also worked out software for stitching, and are moving forward on that request.
-In a bit more of a bump, our first experiments in importing 4k footage into Unity ended up with very low framerate. We are going to experiment to see if we can go to HD, or if we need to come up with another engine solution
-We chose a direction for our set of films, “Empathy” and wrote and reviewed several great synopsis.
Next week, we will run our synopsises by our instructors, composite our 3d demo, and shoot our 360 demo!
