Week 7 development log

For this week, we focused on finishing the demo for 1/2 presentation and preparation for 1/2

  1. We fixed the connection bug in the 2 player demo and made some iteration based on the feedback we had during client meeting.
  2. We got the health system running and implement the mockup UI and some 3D models in the gameplay so the guest now can had a more clear idea of the gameplay.
  3. We modified the position marking system, so the position in the AR world would be more precise.
  4. We started to build the 1/2 presentation slides and rehearsal as a team.

Our artists and programmers worked together to show the feedback system working with all the UI systems in place.

Our artists also made updates to the environment in order to further theme and test the plausibility of decorating the entire AR play space. At this point occlusion of the environment doesn’t seem likely, however we don’t want to rule out the possibility just yet.
