The People of the Northwest Palace
There are currently 23 NPCs (Non Player Characters
controlled by the computer) in the Northwest Palace, including King
Ashur-nasir-pal II and the Crown Prince.

Other high-class officials and businessmen are denoted
by their long tunics and lack of a beard because they would have
been eunuchs. There is the Rab Ekalli, who was in charge
of palace administrative tasks, and several Courtiers talking about
business and waiting to see the King.

Most of the NPCs are men because, unfortunately, it
would not be common to see women in the regions of the palace that
the experience takes place in. However, women in Ancient Mesopotamia
had a fairly significant presence so we placed the Queen and one
of her attendants in the smaller courtyard close to the Residential
area where they would have resided.
Priest are denoted by their shaved heads and long
tunics.
Working class men would have had shorter tunics and
beards. In the palace there are servants, scribes, and artisans.
