Game Description
The guest is placed in the NW Palace at Nimrud circa
the Neo-Assyrian period. They have in their possession a camera
with which they can take pictures of the palace and any objects
or people they come across while exploring. The guest has free reign
of where they wish to travel within the palace grounds. The goal
of the agme is to find the artifacts from the Walters Art Museum's
collection as they would have appeared in the Palace in ancient
times and take photographs of them. When the player takes a photograph
of an artifact, they are rewarded with some in-depth information
about the artifact and a picture of the artifact as it appears today.

Within the palace, there are several artifacts from
the WAM collection: decorative carved ivory furniture pieces, large
stone decorative panels with relief carvings of the semi-divine
genius figure, and delicate cylinder seals. In addition to the artifacts
from the WAM collection, there is a mud brick from UCLA's archives
that showcases handwritten cuneiform. Besides these artifacts, the
palace is furnished as it might have been during the Neo-Assyrian
period and the walls are richly painted to immerse the guest into
the experience.

Along with the static objects inside the palace, there
are also several NPCs populating the space. Most mind their own
business, but some interact with the player at specific locations
to help guide them to the artifacts and also to give them more in-depth
information about the time period.

The player is given a roll of film with 12 shots and
a 5 minute time limit (their camera's battery) because the experience
will eventually be installed on a kiosk at the Walters Art Museum.
When the player has used up their whole roll of film or time has
run out, they are presented with a photo album of all the pictures
they took.
