Rich Marmura

Rich is a Pittsburgh native who grew up in Moon Township near the Pittsburgh International Airport. After he graduated from Westminster College (New Wilmington PA) in the spring of 2005 with a double degree in Theatre and Political Science, Rich moved to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota to pursue an MFA in Set Design/Scenic Painting.
Rich spent two summers with a summer stock company in Huron Ohio, The Huron Playhouse and spent this past summer as a scenic painter/artist for the Vee Corporation in Minneapolis MN. He enjoys the artistic/ technical end of theatre, as well as the acting/directing realm; which made the ETC a perfect fit.

Rich's hobbies include painting, sculpture, wheel-throw, metal working, backpacking, puppetry, carpentry and cooking.

Rich is still trying to find his way in the electronic world; as he is used to painting with a brush or bamboo stick as opposed to a mouse or Wacom pad. Rich hopes to use his time at the ETC to enhance his skills at both the artistic and the technological; while blending both.
