IAAPA 2006
The ETC has emerged as a quickly growing presence in the themed entertainment industry. In an effort to showcase the ETC and it's talented students the LBE Studio designed, fabricated, and installed a world-class trade show booth that made its debut at the 2006 IAAPA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The 400 square foot booth featured prominent ETC projects such as Quasi the Robot, the Jam-O-Drum, the Haptopotamus, and Ben Franklin's Ghost and provided the attractions industry an opportunity to discover all that the ETC has to offer.
Also featured at IAAPA was a panel discussion with Joe Garlington (Walt Disney Imagineering), Craig Hanna (Thinkwell Design & Production), and Don Marinelli (ETC). The panel explored the rising trend of interactivity in themed entertainment and was moderated by ETC students Anne Kelly & Lenny Larsen.
