Bryan is a Senior Research Programmer on Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center Technology Team. He designs and builds internal applications and systems, provides expert technical consultation to faculty and students and assists with help desk operations.
Before joining the ETC, Bryan supported research computing infrastructure and developed digital video library applications for the Informedia Research Project at Carnegie Mellon's School of Computer Science. He continues this work today as a key developer for The HistoryMakers Digital Archive, a collection of African American video oral histories licensed by over 200 organizations, including Carnegie Mellon.
At the ETC, Bryan enjoys empowering students to overcome technical challenges, whether it's interfacing physical hardware with Unity, building backend servers for client applications, or troubleshooting complex software issues. Outside of work, Bryan enjoys live music, playing guitar, cooking and exploring nature through bike rides or hikes.
