Kristin is an administrative professional, writer, and editor. She has over twenty years of experience in Executive and Academic assistance and administration, with previous positions at Dollar Bank, Chatham University, and Carlow University. At Chatham, she worked in Academic Affairs, Information Technology, and served as the Director of Commencement, staying for over eleven years. She is proud to be a part of the support staff that any organization requires to run smoothly and is dedicated to helping systems work for students, faculty, and staff. One of her greatest sources of fulfillment is watching students achieve their dreams through higher education.
Her artistic background includes literacy charity work for the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council, comic book writing, and continued publication under her pen name. Her first novel won the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award in 2013 and was published by Montlake Romance with an additional release in Japanese translation. Her writing is also featured in mobile otome narrative games from Voltage and a solo narrative choice-based browser game from Heart’s Choice.
Kristin’s research interests include media literacy, technology-assisted storytelling, ethics, and the evolution of fiction writing. She values conversation, education, and interpersonal relationships and seeks to apply these in both her career and personal life. Kristin was proudly born and raised in Pittsburgh.
