Nanqing (Ivy) Hu is pursuing a Master of Entertainment Technology degree at Carnegie Mellon University, after earning her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from McGill University. She has worked on projects ranging from procedural textures in Substance Designer to immersive VFX in Unity and Unreal Engine. Her internship experiences at Pico Interactive and the Canada China Art-Tech Festival gave her opportunities to explore VR, game streaming, and immersive media production. At the ETC, she is excited to grow as a Technical Artist, exploring shaders, VFX, and interactive pipelines. She hopes to create games and experiences that connect deeply with players across cultures.
