Kumaran is a visual communication designer and filmmaker who graduated with a degree in Design from the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. He has directed and been part of multiple film crews working on short films, ads, and documentaries. Kumaran has also experimented with integrating AI into his post-production workflow, particularly with style transfer and animation. Prior to joining the ETC, he has worked as a Film Intern and Junior Editor at Trip Creative, a visual communication design firm in Mumbai. Kumaran is eager to adopt and learn new tech and software that will let him tell his stories better. He plans to expand on this at the ETC, and intends to channel his film background into creating art that elevates and complements narrative experiences.
