Working with Steenrod Elementary School, Project Flower Power is an ETC project creating an experience that aims to teach students in 4th and 5thgrade about leading sustainable lives and their impact on their community and planet. Focusing on engaging gameplay, players will learn about ecology, and everyday actions they can take to live more green lives. Steenrod Elementary School, located in Wheeling, WV, embraces a vision of shaping future citizens who welcome the opportunities of an ever changing world in a responsible and conscientious manner. Through the project collaboration, students who are a part of the Green Team (Sustainability Club) will have the opportunity to act on an expanded understanding of environmentalism to become leaders of fostering change in their school and larger community.
