ReAct is a team at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center focused on enhancing theater experience via Augmented Reality(AR). Nowadays, Broadway producers are seeking someone who can think outside the box and bring their shows outside. Responding to the need, ReAct wants to prove that AR technology on smartphones becomes the best solution to rebuild an outdoor venue since it’s portable, available, and affordable. Our jobs are defining scenarios, creating digital assets and animations, and designing interactions between live performers and the virtual world. Ultimately, we aim to expand the watching experience for performances and build magical moments for the audience.
