Team Ursa is developing a live outdoor game experience to be played by a large group of people at the Games for Change Festival being held in New York City in spring 2014. Games for Change as an organization has been dedicated to catalyzing social impact through games since 2004. The festival provides a great opportunity for us to share our game with a large number of people and to meet and engage with other game developers who are seeking to make an impact and realize social change.
We believe that games have a unique ability to take players out of their everyday world and experience a totally new and foreign world. Our goal is to create an accessible and entertaining live game experience with a well-crafted digital component that allows players to understand and engage with a real-world global issue and hopefully inspire social change within them.
