Spring 2017

Project Website

AXON is a project investigating how the neuroscience of emotions can be applied to virtual reality and crowd-gaming. With VR growing in popularity, we want to explore how people connect with one another in these immersive experiences.  Can virtual reality make people feel real interpersonal empathy? If so, how? Our team is designing a neuro-gaming presentation set to premiere at the Games For Change festival in New York City summer 2017. The experience will combine audience participation with a virtual reality platform to create a one-of-a-kind, irreproducible event. Project Instructors: Jess Hammer, Dave Culyba Project Members: Brad Plaxen, Kai-Chi Huh, Zhangyan (Emily) Zhou, Anqi (Angie) Yang, Yuxing Wang, Mai Ao
